well hi! sydney ward here with my partner damon moon! sleepers club is a new dreamy sleezepop band from atlanta, ga. so… this all started because i booked damon’s studio to work on some music, way back in april of 2020. but before we even got there, covid hit and everything shut down, & tbh I didn’t even have anything written. with nothing to do and no idea what the future was, we jumped into the studio early & wrote and recorded soooo many songs over about 2 months. sleepers club became our escape from the world outside - a little bubble where we bounced around the sound waves & disinfected microphones, all while trying to keep our brains balanced. we didn’t have a plan, much like the rest of the world, we just took it day by day, letting the songs reveal themselves. so we locked the studio doors and turned up the amps to drown out the fear. it turned out to be a pretty magical time, tbh.

but, one day, we left the studio, and it felt like we were just done. there was some feeling of completion, but we had no idea what it was or what to do with it. whatever it is has just been comfortably sitting on a little hard drive waiting on it’s turn for our attention.

fast forward to now, and a lot of life has happened, but these songs have caught back up with us. the anxious unknown that started this whole thang is back again. so! i think it’s finally time to let these dawgs run wild!
